The Stolzenburgs are a family operation and always looking for qualified young individuals to make the harvest. The workday can consist of long, hot hours, but the chance to travel, and see new places and meet new people will make the job worthwhile.

The people we hire must have a clean driving record, have or be able to obtain a class A or B CDL, a good public relations attitude, and common sense. A farm experience with a background in truck driving is very helpful.

There will be days when the weather will keep us from working. When that happens the crew does things that everyone enjoys. They have been go-carting, paddle boating on a river and have gone up Pikes Peak, seen Mt. Rushmore, the Royal Gorge, and fished the Missouri. The crew has fish fries, goes golfing, plays basketball, and baseball and goes hunting in the fall. Then when the sun shines and the crop dries, they are back in the combines and hauling away the grain to the market.

Room and board is provided to the crew. They live in a camper that has a complete kitchen, bunks, and a washer. It has all the comforts of a home.
